Troubleshooting
What to check when something isn't happening, in the order worth checking it.
Ordered by how often each one is the actual cause.
An agent says it cannot do something
Almost always a write grant, not a bug. A connected tool is readable by default; writing is a separate grant per action. Open Settings → Integrations, find the tool, and check its action policy.
The second most likely cause is a capability — you are signed in as a member without the permission that action needs.
A drafted message never sent
It is waiting for you. Open Tasks and check the relevant chip. Nothing sends on your behalf without approval, so "drafted but not sent" is the system working, not failing.
If the task is not there either, the objective that would have produced it may be paused — see below.
An objective is not progressing
In order:
- Funding. No active plan, or an exhausted balance. The wall shows a card with the route to fix it.
- A blocker. Something the workspace needs resolved before execution continues. Blockers surface on your Dashboard.
- A question. An agent asked something and is waiting. Look for threads needing input.
- Concurrency. Your tier caps how much runs at once. Other work may be ahead in the queue.
A channel stopped bringing things in
Open the Inbox and check the channel's status rather than assuming silence means quiet. A channel in an error state says so on the channel itself. Reconnecting re-runs consent, which is usually what expired.
Studio will not start a preview
Check a host is online — desktop app running, or a cloud host awake. A sleeping cloud host wakes on demand but the first request is slow. If a host is online and preview still fails, read the Logs tab; a failed install is the common cause and it says so there.
Output is generic
Not a fault — a grounding problem. Fill in the business profile, capture your writing voice, and add any standing constraints to memory. Generic in, generic out.
