Run Foreman from Slack or Telegram
Brief your Chief of Staff from tools you already have open.
You can bind an outside channel to your Chief of Staff and brief it without opening Foreman.
Steps
- In Chat, open channel settings.
- Connect Slack, or begin a Telegram binding.
- Complete authorization on that platform.
- Message it. The reply comes from the same Chief of Staff, with the same context.
You're done when a message sent from Slack or Telegram appears in your Foreman thread.
Why it is the same conversation
This is a binding, not a separate bot. The thread, the context and the approvals are the same — you are reaching the same agent through a different door.
Gotchas
- Approvals still happen in Foreman. You can ask from Slack; approving something weighty brings you back.
- Unbind when you stop using it. A bound channel stays bound.
